Default 8-3-17 grind out a limit.

Left Cal Point just before 6. Was on the reef in northeast corner for daylight. I was like yes it is beautiful water and knew it should with that north east and east wind lately. Not one trout bite on reef. Moved to my cut I like to fish. One decent trout. Decided to hit channel so cut across thru Texaco up to #80 or so where I caught other day on my family trip. Couple here and couple there. Where are the fish I'm thinking????? Then I was like we may not catch good today with no tide. 930 we headed for turners which is last stop before we end it but I decided to fish off channel by the LNG plant. It was not a fast bite but started catching 17"-20" fish with largest going almost 24". Which finished out with a good little limit. Left launch with fish cleaned just before noon. That last spot I stopped at saved the day and it was a spot I have never fished. But I'll be back there again!!! Lol . Fish were caught in 8-12 feet of water. Live pogies and shrimp.
