Help me send a little Girl to Disney!!


A friend of a friend over at the Pensacola Fishing Forum has a daughter, Taylor Smith, who was born without the ability to hear. Through the implant of a Cochlear Implant involving two different surgeries, this girl has gained some ability to hear.

She is the only girl in her school with hearing deficits.


There is a "Cochlear Celebration" and Convention this year in Orlando at Disney. Taylor has entered a contest to win a free trip for two to this gathering.

She wants to go to meet others her age with similar experiences and to share her story with other kids who are about to undergo the same procedures. The contest is simple, with each person able to vote online once a day...follow the link below.


Why does Taylor Smith need our support? The only competition she has in this "online voting contest" is a middle aged man who recently lost his hearing.


I can't really see how a fella this age can in good conscience try to beat a little girl out of a trip to Disney? He's evidently posted some negative comments online like "I'm going to take this girl down".


That just doesn't seem right to me. Please help and vote every 24 hours until the contest ends on 1/13! Feel free to share the link with as many folks as possible!
