Camping Trailer A/C problem

I bought a small used [20+ years old] camping trailer 2 weeks ago. The A/C was working when I bought the trailer and it worked the next day after I bought the trailer when connected to my house power.

Now, it will run for a few minutes and then the compressor shuts off and the fan keeps running. After 5+ minutes the compressor will start running again, but only for 1 or 2 minutes. It does the same thing when the fan speed is set on HI, Med, or Low. I tried setting the A/C thermostat to different settings..... but it does the same thing.

Anyone know what my problem might be...... or.... any suggestion on where I could take the trailer in the Lake Charles area to have the A/C repaired?
