two words...Poo-Yie...

so friday night Rob P said the heat wave is over, winds will shift out of the east. Checked the wind forecast and showed 8 out of the east. I should know by now...

Hit the pass after a rough ride, water was real salty, get to caldwell and outside was really rough. started marking fish and shrimp on the depthfinder so we dropped some shrimp and caught some of Aubry and Marques record Gafftop. Moved inside the pass to get away from the rough water. Set up and the trolling motor batteries are dead. There was a looming storm offshore so we ran to Bayou Lucien. Found bait steeling croaker, hardheads small black drum and this big ole toad. tried a few more spots and called it. back on the trailer by 11:30.

Water was really good most places, just rough as hell.
