Default Sam Rayburn today

Watermelon w/red flake flukes 3'-6' today turned on for us about 8 am and almost shut down at 10 am. My partner was putting the hurt on the fish and I couldn't get bit. I changed to the fluke and dipped the tail in chartreuse. A bunch of small fish and a few good ones. Guys a the finish of tourney today were saying the fish just stopped biting for them about 10 am. I caught 3 fish from 10 till 2:20 pm. Was overcast and cloudy till about 9:45 am. We only managed to weigh a 12+ sack today . Big stringer today was 17 + lbs. Caney Creek area and it was windy and rough but I have been in worse weather.
