Its can be as cost effective or as expensive as you want it to be. Lee does make some good stuff for the $ and is what I use for loading rifle ammo. I use a Dillon progressive press for handgun ammo because of the qauntity it can produce in an hour. To me reloading is a very rewarding and relaxing. I even cast my own pistol bullets. It seems over whelming at first but it isnt. It can be addictive though.lol
