Big lake 3-9-13

We were the second boat out of Heberts this morning and ran south. Found a nice flock of birds near commissary and fished them hard for a little while picking up nine keeper trout and two nice reds. Ran south and beat the bank by the weirs picking up two more reds. Wind was blowing form the start and got much worse as the day went on. Back at the launch at 12 and guys were still heading out. Had some guys throwing live shrimp under cork at the same birds we were fishing. They stayed when our bite shut off and theirs stayed productive. They caught 25 off that flock. Been really enjoying learning the lake.
