Had a meeting yesterday that I believe spells the end to individual and group health insurance as we know it. It's the Feds reasoning that Medicaid should necessarily increase in each state to cover everyone up to 400% of the poverty level or $31,000 per family. What this means to those not working at McDonalds is, you will be taxed to pay for those who choose to have children without the means to support them. Beginning in 2014, all health care providers will be taxed to cover the cost of ACA . In Louisiana, that bill will be 36.4 million $ and equals a 2,5 % increase on every health care policy. In subsequent years the tax increases to 3.5% and 4.5% in addition to your normal age increase. Don't worry, these numbers are mere actuarial numbers and I predict they will be two fold estimates. America is running towards hell and 49% of the population is cheering us on!!!!!!!
