Westfork
Took a couple hours with my Dad yesterday to fish. Had a good time...
We soft plastics for about 45 minutes down the bank headed up Westfork towards Houston River split off...craws, crankbaits and spinner baits just wouldn't produce. Pulled out top water plug and caught two. One nice 2lb, one about 1lb...didn't weigh 'em. Anyway, water not near as muddy or high as I thought would be. Just came in from out of town, so was anxious to see how the river was. Fished for about 1.5hrs. Prob leave it alone til end of October... Y'all think they'll be shallow and back in the bays by then?
