So many people need to understand that they gotta stop comparin' land-fallin' storms to previous ones. It appears that is why so many of 'em got trapped in their homes and had to be rescued....because "
we didn't flood durin' Katrina". There are so many differences between Katrina and Isaac and very few characteristic similarities. The tracks were totally different, forward speed, intensity, size...etc. Katrina was a decreasing system at landfall while Isaac was strengthening. Katrina blew on through while Isaac stalled several times.
I can fully understand the people that had to be rescued in places that have never flooded, but, Braithwaite???

C'mon! You gotta get outta there with any approaching system.
I'm done ranting.
