Beach 8-8-12

[Jedi Lure Tricks]

Decided to run down to the beach this morning and catch the water while it was pretty. Showed up at dawn to find a light north wind and smooth water. I started out chunking a pink skitter walk and caught 6 or so but it didn't seem like the really wanted it, so I switched over to a glo jerk jr. on an 1/8oz yellowmouth jighead. I hung another 10 or so on that but it still seemed slow. Once the sun got higher I could see the water wasn't as green as I thought so I switched to a darker color,LSU, and it was on! Caught another 15 or so before the wind shifted to out of the south and began to dirty the water. Ended the morning at 9:30 with 32ish (i lost count around 25-28) trout. No giants, best one going about 3 1/2lbs. Also had some excitement when a nice size shark ate a 15" trout whole off my line. Back in the office by noon. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1344457815.592210.jpg
