Friday in the rain

Got a last minute call from an old buddy to make a trip Friday.
They where at Salvo's eating when he found out that one person dropped out.
So with dinner in my belly, and a thumbs up from the wife, I headed down to Venice.

4 AM brought dooming weather, but our young crew was too amped up to just sit in.

We weathered the showers and put 12 red snapper, one mangrove, one vermillion and two ling in the boat by 12 AM.

Not bad for their first trip!! and as the young ladies personal deck hand, we managed to get her to way out fish her two brothers!! IMG_1028.JPG
