Churn Fun at BW!

Got a call from my brother in law Friday... invited the family to Big Woods for a little perch jerkin. This was a first for my son. His first cast was a hookup (FIRST FISH EVER!!!). I was proud. Not only did he catch the biggest but he was haulin em in left and right. Little dude was giving the bait a lil twitch action every now and then. Guess its how the fish wanted the worm presented lol. He did not want me to even touch his fishin rod after the first fish (he's 2). We only stayed out for an hour... but what a great hour. Managed to get my wife outta the house. Figured I would hook one for her and let her feel the shake of the pole. She used to be an avid fisherwoman. Talk about sensory overload for her and an EMOTIONAL day for the both of us. I couldnt be happier. Great weekend with great family. Makes me not even think about the 4 hrs overtime i spent at the hospital on sunday. OH YEAH... my son wants to go fishing every 10 min now. I had to (hide) put up his pole up for the fear that he may smack someone trying to cast it around the house lol.
