Default Salvador 1/27

Got a call from my uncle wanting to know if I wanted to go fishing with him. He said his buddy Art was coming so I figured it would be a little heavy in the aft so I said I'd take my brother's Allison if I could get someone to come. Called Steven and he said I could take his boat if I found someone to come with so I called my buddy Picou who just took his ASVAB and is going to MEPS Monday to enlist in the Army, and he said sure. Got on the water around 0645 and neither me or my uncle knew where we were going so I followed him into Lake Salvador. Stopped to fish battling trolling motor problems and the head on wind only picking up one fish and losing 3 at the boat while Jeff and Art managed 4 in the lake until about 1000 when we decided to get out of the wind. Found a canal and found the bass at the last possible moment. Uncle's boat managed 12 and we managed 10 with a throw back when we got back home. All fish caught on white Humdinger. Missed way more than we caught in the canal. Planning another trip on Sunday to the same area. Not too bad of a day
