Default Son's first dove hunt couldn't have went better

Finished baiting gator lines by lunch so decided to go check a ridge on the duck lease for some doves. Got some shells and decided to take my son out of daycare for his first hunt. We got out there for 5ish and started shooting immediately. I brought him a empty BB gun to carry around since he loves to tote the Wii gun around the house. He was not bothered by my 12 gauge at all, which I was worried about the noise. I shot 11 and my uncle shot 1:*****:. We sat next to a tree for around 30 minutes then I realized that I left my sons snacks in the boat, well after getting to the boat my son didnt want to leave. Well I sat on an ice chest 10 feet from the boat and the doves didnt mind. Bad part was I left the lab at home figuring I would have my hands full with my 2 year old, so I lost 4 doves to some high grass. Also saw around 50 teal and 3 wood ducks buzzing the marsh.
