Headed out of Spicer's about 540. Caught some mullet. Got to the jetties at about 0700. Water was smooth and pretty. Headed West to the beach.

Water was just as pretty as it was last Friday. Figured it would be on.

WRONG.

It was hit and miss. Catch one or two trout at each set of rocks. Some did not have any on them.

We were in 2 boats. Had Coco, a friend of his and me in my Frontier and Capt B., Matt and Kenner in his Nautic star.

Finished the day with 12 trout and 12 reds on my boat. I think Kenner had 29 trout and 6 reds. Could have limited on reds if we had tried. Did turn loose 2 trout. One about 5 lbs and the other 4 1/2 lbs.
