Default what an afternoon at the pass!!!

A buddy of mine showed up at my office at 3:30 yesterday afternoon and wanted to go fishing...so I left work and went get my boat and we left the house around 4:15...put the boat in the water around 5:30 at Maxie perice landing got to the bay and it was slick as glass got to cordwell? reef around 6:00 and let me tell you the birds were diving like crazy they even had pelicans diving too...the fish were popping every where the shrimp were jumping out the water...as soon as my first cast hit the water it was sunk and it was on like Donkey Kong!!! every cast... fished for about an hour and my wife called me and said they had a bad storm moving our way so we packed up and headed in...made it back to the landing, got the boat on the trailer and just as we closed the truck door it started pouring down rain. Anyway we made it back to the house at 8:45 with 43 trout and did not get a drop of rain on us...wow!!! All fish were caught on Berkley ghost shrimp. Sorry I have no pictures due to the rain and I let my buddy keep all the fish. They were all about 12 to 18 inches not very big but what a time we had.
