Default lil fla beach 5/15

Ran down to the beach late this morning. got there about 11 and found the wind still strong from the north, water was up and pretty stained. I tossed the yak in and headed for the rocks. Fished for about an hour. tossed gulp , jerk jrs and a couple hard baits. only got bit on the gulp shrimp sugar spice glow. had 1 fat sandy and 1 redfish that was just less than 4lbs on the boga. worked pretty hard for those 2 fish. might have done better but the wind was strong enough to repeatedly dislodge my anchor. felt like i was doing more paddling than fishing. guess i need a bigger anchor!
left my phone on the beach with my wife and i catch and release reds and trout, so no fish pics. but when i got in i took a couple pics of the water for anyone who was wondering what it looked like down there.. one is unfiltered and the other is thru the lens of my costa del mar 580's with vermilion lenses. you can really see the difference good glasses make, can easily see the clean water line.. wish we could get a couple weeks of straight north wind!
