Hydrolics Pains

Well, after planning a trip for the Gulf and getting others excited about the cobia, pompano, snapper and..........what ever
I drive down to my brothers place where I keep my boat. It's a lot closer to water here than north of Alexandria. I load all the gear into it as well as the ice chest with drinks and the ice chest with pogy for chum. I decide I'll turn her over and hear her fire for a second, just to make sure she's ready for the weekend of meat hauling. I switch the batteries on and that's when ALL HELL BROKE! The pump started pumping Causing the motor to raise to it's highest point and the pump kept pumping. I shut the battery switch off and it of course stopped. I had to loosen the hydrolic line feeding to the motor to bleed some pressure off and the motor dropped some. However as soon as everthing is connected and the battery switch is turned ON, the Hydrolic pump kicks in and the motor again rises to it's up most point. I thought that it must be the switch, so I disconnected the switch from the controle lines feeding power to the pump. NO CHANGE! I pulled the hot feed going to the terminal block and finally the pump stops it's sounds and comes to rest. I guess the control block is what is in need of replacement. Sorry to the guy's hopeing to go out in my boat this weekend. Austin, Jason, Bob, Longside But I belive it is a lost cause. I will be tearing into it tomorrow, but I am sure I'll have to order parts before it will be repaired.
