Hit the water 5 out 6 days .........Started off Thursday at Sunrise to find the trout weren't feeling it at all!!! Real slow and some horrible water conditions... fished hard for 12trout and 2 reds.....
At the landing most of the guides had the same story...fishing sucked

Friday..... Did not fish just took my wife and her cousins from Montana crabbing...loaded the boat with crabs and spoke with a few guides on the phone...Same thing...bad fishing...nothing to talk about

...Sun...Called JoshL up to join my wife and me for some trout action.....
Launched the boat at 5:30pm and pretty much stayed on fish for hours...Josh and I caught on top water until 9:00pm at night....could not see crap...just listen to the smash....

Mon... Wife and I went out....
Tore loose on trout from the get go...only went to two spots and hammered them....I threw topwater all day while she waxed my azz on a sparkle beetle until 7pm....
Got to my little are at 7 and topwater was on just about every cast...this area must of have a huge female spawn this week.....Every trout we caught there from SUN to Today were 90% pissed off males..... They were either fertilizing eggs or about too... I stayed on the water until 9:45pm last night and caught every on top in pitch black....

Tues...
Same thing but our limit was hand selected...... I only keep 16-18inch trout.....We let everything under and over go....But what sucked was we had that limit in 45min to an hour....

Wife caught her 1st top water top
she caught a tagged red fish....{TAGGED RED IS PICTURED BELOW}
and saw a deer
and a huge sea turtle all in one trip....

I told Josh and Micah...you have to read those charts and tides to trick those trout....

In 3 days I would be safe to say I caught over 150 trout on top water.... 60 were from today...
My damn wrist is about to fall off....
