Thanks for the reports. I have been waiting a long time for the Lake conditions to improve some. It sounds like we still need a couple more days of good weather. Yesterday and this morning were the first time in 2 weeks that the winds were below 10 mph.

I passed over the Calcasieu river today on hwy 171 and the water is still high and is a chocolate brown color. It will be a week or more before this part of the river starts to get better. Below I-10 when the water starts to get a little salty, it starts clearing up faster.
