Boater injured in Calcasieu Lake

CAMERON PARISH, LA (KPLC) - The Region 5 Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is investigating a boating accident that happened Wednesday afternoon in Cameron, authorities said. Lt. Beau Robertson said the accident happened around 1 p.m. in the south end of Calcasieu Lake. One person was ejected from the boat and sustained "serious bodily injuries." The victim, whose name has not been released, has been transported to a Lake Charles hospital. Wildlife and Fisheries is investigating the accident. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
