New Iberia World Championship Gumbo Cookoff
Hey guys,
I know there has been a lot of chatter about gumbo's and cook-offs and want to let you know that the New Iberia World Championship Gumbo Cookoff is this weekend Oct. 11-12. The 12th is actual day for judging. I HIGHLY recommend getting there at 6am and enjoy the smell of over 100 roux's getting fired up at one time. I unfortunately can not make it due to golf tournament obligation in Lake Charles. If you go, let me know what you think is best on here. They have some good ones and some .....well.....not so good! But it is a good fun family event. RC
