Grand Isle Surf Fishing July 13-14
I made two surf fishing trips 2 weekends ago on Elmer's Island in Caminada Pass. It was probably the best two wades of my life. I caught tons of trout. All on topwater. I ended up keeping all of the nice ones over 15". When I finally got around to counting the fish in my ice chest I had 50 fat trout majority being over 2lbs with my best five weighing in at 16lbs.
