Default capt. JLT

I have fished w/ capn. John a few times and have recomended many folks to him . Never had one complaint and many have booked a second and third trip.
He is probably the best guide i know of to take the family out fishing with.
He will ask if anyone knows how to fish? if you do he will put you on the fish and let you catch. He will spend his time w/ the ones that don't know what they are doing to teach them how to catch fish.
He comes across on the internet as being very opinonated. But he is usually right.
He has a very nice comfortable lodge and is a great cook.
The first time my brother and i went to buras we had no clue on how and where to fish. we stayed at capt.JLTs place and fished on sat. we caught a few trout and reds The capt had a charter Sat. Sun morning we got up to go again and JLT was sitting in his chair and told us to load our stuff in the big triton and lets go. he took us on the east side and we caught trout and reds on every cast till it started getting to hot out there. Went back in and we cleaned fish.
Capt JLT never asked for a cent .
We gave him some $$$ at least enough to pay for his fuel and a small tip.
He told us to come back anytime.

Hell Of a Guy!!! I've never heard a bad thing about him(from people that know him) I stop by to see him when I go down there.......Lst time, he tried to hook us up w/ some strippers!! If you go, make sure you bring your own corks........You'll need the biggest one you can find.....make sure it's weighted!!! Also.......Don't forget the Lysol........the strippers down there smell like shrimp!!!
