Default Bug A-Salt Gun

Here's something some of you might love!
I dodn't know about you guys but I never have a fly around until I light the grill and all of a sudden they come from I don't know where. Rarely see any until they get a smoke signal. I ordered one this past Tuesday!
Check ot this video link below and I bet some of you order one.

Door bell rang at the office a few minutes ago and I had that funny feeling it was the UPS guy. I picked up speed as I walked toward the door.
As I signed for the package I had a smile on my face and wondered if he (Ups guy)knew what exactly he was delivering. I briskly walked to my work bench and grabbed a razor knife to open the package. As I opened I gazed upon like it was something I'd been waiting two days for. Well, yeah I was waiting two days. I cut the wires holding it in the box it came in and loaded this devastator of flies and took a few practice shots. In one of the sinks of course. I didn't want to have salt all over the office. I set up a piece of foil just like in the video and took a shot and it does shoot a nice pattern in deed. Now, No flies to be found here at work this day but I can't wait to get home and take a few out by the chicken pen. Mwahahahahahaaaaaaaa............ !

Oh, and it does pack a nice little sting if you shoot your hand.

BTW, I tilted it forward to see if the salt would pour out but it didn't. Nice!!!!!

Oh, you can probably use it to add salt to whatever you're cooking on the grill too!

This guy used a deal where regular people funded his idea...looks like he has made it...

I was wondering the same thing, looked em up online and it says three feet. Same reach as a fly swatter but looks like a lot more fun

Hahaha if you're gonna go that route you might think about upgrading to sea salt.

Well, yesterday afternoon after patroling the four rooms and even the bathroom at work I found a spider climbing the wall. I took aim and shot it and killed it. Now it was from about 18 inches away but killed it and left no bug splatter on the wall. I know there's at least one review that says it can't kill a spider but mine did./ Maybe that was an earlier version and they increased the power a bit. Anyway It worked on that spider.

Now when I got home I went out to the chicken pen and spotted a few flies around there. It was funny to see this thing work(but without the cool sound effects like in the video)and take down those pesky disese carriers. I tried at different ditances and I guess it depends on the shot but some died, some were stunned and landed on their backs kicking and died with asecond shot. You just have to hit them right! I didn't have any wasps in the yard. A few honey bees but I wouldn't shoot them and urge everyone else not to either. We need them! I did spot a mosquito setting on a table, shot it and I'm sure it killed it. I even took a shot at a flying mosquito and hit it.
It might not kill every insect but it's made not to damage the surroundings and it does sting and will kill tender bodied bugs but not the tough armored ones. Like trying to take out a Humvee with a 9mm it ain't gonna happen.
I'll load it with a larger grained salt tonight to see what it dose with that but it's a pretty cool fly killer and makes it all the more fun to kill them with. More fun than letting thm buzz around you while sitting out by the grill cussing at them and less dangerous than spraying bug spray and inhaling that stuff.

Overall I like this thing and may order another one to have a back up. I can't wait for the semi auto version to hit the market.

BTW, if you have a bb or pellet gun that you can pump several times I'm sure you could kill those wasps with that loaded with salt.

My arch nemisis are YELLOW JACKETS! While evacuated from Katrina and in north Alabama I got stung by 24 yellow jackets. I was running and just like you see in cartoons where a black cloud chases someone, that's exactly what they did to me. Got stung in the neck, up my short, legs and arms. Two dozen of them mf's!

This morning I reloaded the BAS gun with Kosher salt and went out to the yard(chicken pen)for a little fly killing. Works more effectively! Definitely a bit more sting to it than table salt.
Like I said before my purpose is to erradicate the ones that come around while I'm grilling. Tonight I'll be grilling some swordfish steaks so we'll see what happens then.
