Navarre Beach was one of the best vacation I ever been on. It wasn't really croweded or as nice as Destin of Pensacola Beach but it had plenty to do. We rented a house on the bay side on a canal and had a blast.

If I ever go back that way I'll look you up.

Jimmy I want to say thanks for the trip last Monday. I had a blast. I hope we can do it again next year. Jimmy was very fun to fish with you. The bite was slow that day but being on the GOM was just as fun. Once again thanks bro for the invite.

Jason,

It was a great meeting /fishing with you and although the seas were solid 3-4's, you hung in there for a short trip out. Very tough conditions to fish needless to say but we gave it a go.

Yesterday the seas were 1-2's and I was thinking too bad conditions were not like these last Monday...Here's a couple of pics from yesterday with my 2 guest from Ms for their first trip ever in the gulf.

Hell yeah. Nice job bro. Maybe next year we can give it another try. Thanks for taking me out. I absolutely love Dewey Destin's. They have a new one in the main road. They ado have the original by the bridge. Very good. I think we eat there at least three times when we go. Also try the crab trap. I heard bubba gump shrimp co was very good but kinda pricey.

Gonna b there tomorrow thru Wed., yea the weather doesn't look great to me for offshore. But you never know, I was planning on just some surf fishng with the kid from the pier to Ft. Pickens wanted to do some fly fishing on the bay side, but some locals said the jetskiers, tow boats are thick. It's nice of you to offer such a trip.

Welcome, give me a shout as I may be able to take you and your son for a day in the bay...if not, I can't believe jet skiers nor boats will hamper your fly fishing plans...the only place jet skiers would come into question is near quiet water (touristy) but near Ft Pickens should be no problem...

Again, give me a shout and I'll do my best to steer you in the right direction..

We ate Dewey Destins yesterday. I finally was able to try some grilled tuna. All I can say is AWESOME. Really a neat place to eat at.

Mike,

After talking to ya today, it may may worth exploring our waters for a few triple tail, I haven't heard folks targeting them in our waters but willing to give it a try.

Mobile Bay is famous for triple tail but often wondered why not in our bay system.

Talk to ya soon brother!

Jimmy

Mike,

Many thanks for the cracklins and boudin brother....

It was nice meeting you, wife and daughter for lunch at McQuires, was too funny when you unknowingly entered the ladies room...the sign says "<-TO MENS"..lol

The look on your daughter's face was priceless...

Hope you're enjoying your vacation & sorry that the friggin east winds are howling keeping us out the gulf.

Jimmy
