We use jugs(laundry soap, bleach bottles, etc)with 10' of line with a weight then another 3' line with a swivel and hook. I find the bigger jugs make them easier to find and we just put all the line inside the jugs when not in use.

Handy carrying case, this old playmate holds a dozen, keeps your decks clear and free of clutter normally associated with jug lines... I cut the noodles to fit tightly...

We will set them out before fishing a section of river, and keep an eye on em' while fishing... Last year with all the saltwater we mostly caught sailcats in the Sabine, hopefully this year we will get some nice blues...

What types of bait are ya'll using and what seems to produce better and what type of fish? My grandpa uses a lot of cut buffalo and has been using beef tripe(sp) down in White Lake and does very well.

Each noodle is 18 1/2" long with 20" of 3/4 PVC capped with small eyebolt on one end, just silicon nut before gluing on. Extra couple inches of exposed PVC used to wrap reflective tape on.
