Default Verm.Bay 11-25-11

Hit weeks bay this morning bright and early hoping to get on a quick bite before the monkeys appear! Well the quick bite came and so did the monkeys! I mean when you see a flock of birds working what makes people think the only way to catch fish is to run right up to the birds shut down throw anchor and fish That was 30 minutes after we got there, then 10 minutes after that here comes this T-top donkey on his big motor idling right by us so I tell him the fish are all in front of us! Guess what the
a s s does yeah he keeps going right through the middle of everything and sets anchor
Anyways we caught 34 trout through the madness and Big Country caught his dream fish texas boga style. All in all I had a good time besides wanting to kick some a s s

I fished the bay twice this year and I see why! When u think potlicking is bad in BL come take a ride over here.
I'll drive the extra 15 to 20 minutes to BL any day!

I seem to hear different peaple complaining about expensive rigs every so often, but I never seem to read anything about peice of SH-- rigs. I wonder why?????? Answer: it's not polite! Ive fished VB for 30 years and I've seen small, large, expensive, cheap, old, and new boats show little to no courtesy for one another. On the other hand, I've seen alot of respect shown. Expensive or Cheap - New or Old......we are all the same.

My wife and I attempted to head out there this morning but the weather channels forecast and what was actually happening are a bit off. We made it to Delcambre and turned it around when we looked at he weather map. Just got a bit excited to go and ended broken hearted....;-)
