Mental health exam? The 2nd amendment doesn't mention it, but could you imagine that slippery slope? Who determines you are mental? If you are depressed, does that disqualify your 2nd amenement right? What if you are not crazy but you don't pass the crazy test? Scary stuff, and I don't advocate it.

I carried every day on campus. I didn't care if it wasn't allowed. It was my Constitutional right to do so once I turned 21. Saved my life one night.

Actually it's not your constitutional right because federal law prohibits carry in certain places.

But that's neither here nor there.

I keep mine in my truck all the time on campus. Just because I always have it in my truck.

My argument with those who oppose it is

They say allowing people to carry will put more guns on campus.

However. It doesn't matter how if it's legal or not. If someone wants to shoot someone or someplace up. Then they will. Legal or not.

I have seen bipolar people freak out when they skipped on their medicine. Now, say a person who is aggressive bipolar happens to get his CC and carry on campus one day after skipping his medicine...law makes it legal to carry but freaks out with aggressive behavior...A very big "WHAT IF" situation, but i guess with everyone carrying it would not be a problem. lol.
