Sad Fish Kill

Noticed a fish kill on the Bayou at Stringer Bridge Road in Saint Amant.
Any one know what the heck is going on there?

haven't heard a word locally

really? man that sucks but it probally is the heat causing low oxygen levels .

Heard of another fish kill at Cat Island. It's somewhere on the east side of the Miss. River. Report said there were redfish and black drum covering 2 square mile area. Will get more info. and post up unless someone posts up sooner.

I think its the heat and oxygen.
When the water is clear, it lets the suns rays go deeper in the water, warming it up more and taking away oxygen. Thats why I never set nets in clear water, the fish will die over night..

Im sure someone will try and blame it on the oil tho!
