Today me and brother put the big boat in and headed to the Causeway and was greeted with some of the dirtiest water I have seen in a long time. Did not even make one cast at the Causeway, pointed the boat 12 miles east to the trestles. It was a live bait show going on, every 30 feet a bay boat with live shrimp flying everywhere. Finally after moving to the south end of the trestles found a 100 yard area clear of live bait slingers, put the troll motor down and it was on with plastic. Nothing special about the size of these trout today, but a solid 40 trout where put on ice today, with a 3/8 oz head and a 5/16 oz lead head throwing lemonhead matrix and zoom flukes.

Solid. First pretty Saturday in the spring. Boats everywhere!
