Black bayou 10/14/15
First trip this year there and picked the wrong time I guess. Very light tide. Caught 5 keeper bass threw back a couple more, 1 keeper flounder threw back 1 under 12. Out of boredom I went into the marsh and got my 5 redfish. Maybe if the water was moving a little more it would have been better.

Took a week of vacation. Its been nice. Probably it for the week. Few things to do tomorrow then going out of town for a few days.

Grew up duck hunting here. The duck hunting and bass fishing was almost too easy when I was a kid. Limit of ducks in 20 minutes and limit of bass after that. My uncle still leases it and both duck hunting and bass fishing have been poor for years. Love that place though!
