Many places to choose from. In Lake Charles, I like Sonniers off Enterprise Blvd. turn east at the red light by Balls Fried Chicken.

Market Basket smoked boudin and regular boudin is excellent. Jimbo's on south common street is good.

Everyone has their preference as I'm sure you will get some more recommendations.

Lake Charles boudin is really lacking compared to the Lafayette area. But the best boudin around here is Market Basket's IMO.

Laffy has some good Boudin. My friends always buy Best Stop. I save the trip and go to Jerry Lee's in BR, much closer and I love that each batch is a little different.

Default boudin

I buy the market basket boudin in Bridge City and they tell me it's made in Lake Charles. Get some cheese wiz and microwave to warm up. I put it in a Cajun injector and inject the link on each end. Doesn't take much.... Then smoke.....make ya hurt yourself! I try to stay away from it before I have blood work done.
I will try injecting the cream cheese next time.

Bourques in Port Barre best in the state followed closely by Billy's. Market Basket probably has the best in Lake Charles

The only place in LC is Market Basket, anything else in LC is Rice Dressing in casing.

My top 2 are Mowata and Don's, sounds like I need to try a couple more.

This is mine.

Living in Pensacola makes it a challenge to keep stocked up on it.

When I hear a buddy is traveling from Texas / Lafayette areas to here, I order 40 pounds, pre-pay, and have it ready to ship. They simply walk in, state my name, and walk out with the product.

5 hours later. I am stocked for awhile.

I also get two bowls of hogs head cheese as well

The best stop ships all over the world. Just give them a call when you need some.

Thanks.

I know they do, but the cost is high opposed to having a buddy stop by.
