Bl 11-8 & 11-9
Saturday I got on the water about 8 am and saw the hoards up at Turners Bay, so I headed south and pulled out a few trout under birds using popping corks. Sadly when I dropped my trolling motor and turned the handle nothing happened, so much for working the marsh for reds. I took the guys elsewhere to get them some easy action and landed some reds and black drum on the bottom with dead shrimp. After i wore the guys out with giants black drum, we went back in search of trout late in the afternoon and caught a nice one man limit to finish the day out.
Sunday, we had our three man limit on trout by 830 am with a one man limit of reds to boot. All caught on vudu's under a popping cork.
