Catfish lake solo

[Nothing but specks]

Planed a solo today. I really thought the weather would east of us, but not quite got a little rain, and too much wind. I'm no quiter so I stuck it out, running all over. Final count 8 specks 12-14 inches and 6 whites. I did have good company, me myself & I, and some good music. A very enjoyable day getting away from all! All fish caught on plastics of course, LSU colors caught most. Tried others don't remember catching on any other colors. May have caught some on shrimp creole. Many throw backs. yep, there is a nice public launch right there in golden meadow

but if you wanted to, leeville or rather little lake is just a 20 minute boat ride from catfish lake down bayou blue
