Default 3-15-16 MMR Crew takes on DU!!

Just an absolutely beautiful day. Picked up my new Bluewave yesterday just in time for our MMR crew to slime it up. I helped out Capt. Marty today and with perfect conditions my crew jumped on the trout early. Slow steady retrieve in about 4ft of water had the specks jumping in the boat. Put a good lick on them and then light switched off. Made a short move and found them again over an oyster flat about 2ft deep. Pretty subtle bite which gave the guys a little trouble until they figured out the difference between an oyster and a trout bite. For the remainder of the day we would smack a few then drift and smack a few. The trout seem to be in small packs which means a lot of fan casting and drifting. Great day on the water with 2 of the crew catching their first ever speckled trout. Bruce added his first redfish too. Thanks Capt. Marty for setting up the trip. With weather coming in I rescheduled tomorrow's trip and will be headed to the Sportsman Show. Come on out and say hi, I'll be at the Matrix Shad and Bluewave booths.
