Finally got to use my new Stix

First off i want to say thanks to Billy for make a product as good as all the hype i have been hearing. I tested out the rod a few times in the yard but nothing compares to the feel when a trout slams the rod. All the things he explained were true lack of rod rollover, casting distance added 10-15 yds further than the same reel (pfleuger trion) on my St. Croix, very smooth, and extremely sensitive. dont think i said that just because he is a sponsor of the site because I pride myself in being honest and giving my opinion and if the quality was not there I would let you guys know.

glad you got to use your stix and it did everthing i said it would do.
guys 15 to 25 yards further on a single cast is a pretty good amt of distance not to mention that it takes less effort to achive this.
the no roll he mentioned is that the rod never rolls and the line never touches the rod blank no matter how big the fish, the more pressure you apply to the rod the more it makes the reel come back up and sit correctly on top of the reel seat in the manner that it was designed to do
i know it sounds fishy but i have been building this rod now for close to 12 years and i now specilize in the spiralstix because it truly does the job.
