Default Swamp Donkey Down
Killed 10-21-09 on my lease in between Stage Coach Rd. and Holbrook Rd. First of many this year I hope. She came out on my pipeline stand close to dark at the very end of my food plot which is 197yrds. Finally after about 5min of impatient waiting she turned broadside for the shot. Hit her low but got enough vitals for her to run about 50yds. I would have let my son shoot but he was not confident with that far of a shot in low light. But he was way more excited than I was when she was shot. So far this year with 10 people on our lease there is 8 deer dead. 4 does.... 1 Spike.... 1 3 pt..... 1 6pt.... 1 Button(mistaken for a doe) and the rut has just begun. WOOP WOOP good luck everyone

Looks like a nice size deer.....It is ok to stickem low. Usually that give us a better blood trail.
