The $2.00 price for a bag of ice from the Ice Vending Machine just south of the Hackberry Draw Bridge on Hwy 27 is excellent but when you don't receive change from a $5.00 bill it is not that great. This happened to me yesterday, Friday, October 12, in the early AM. So, if you don't want to lose any money in the machine be sure to use $2.00 only.
To top it off, there is no contact information anywhere on the machine for who to notify in order to remedy this situation so nobody else loses their money or to attempt to receive a refund for the money you lost. |

The ones I have bought Ice from I find the ice (not the block) if almost half way melted....seem it does not last as long as getting it from a store.

We buy several bags and put them in deep freeze which makes them last really well and always have ice at house
