I road with my wife's grandpa to pick up his new boat the other day and the trailer was a McLain trailer doesn't have leaf springs it has torsion bars I pulled it bc he doesn't like to drive and I never heard or felt the thing behind me very nice wondering if anyone has or had one if they ever had any problems McLain is proud of them they are 1400 for a 16 foot trailer but the axle and the wheel hubs are guaranteed for life

Ive had torsion axles on my offshore boat and on a large cargo trailer. They are awesome and requires no maintenance. DOnt even feel it back there.
