Quality Trout/Quantity Reds 6-25-12

More good times today on the big Bluewave, it was good having Jason Nugent back on board with his friend Ryan Mahan. Jason is in town from Brazil and Ryan is in town from Scotland. We started the morning looking for the silver back's. Our third stop had 20 + inch trout hitting the deck of the Bluewave. No big numbers but every fish was a solid 20 inch's or better. We lost five next to the boat (heart breaking). Purple Tiger Highlife Swimmers and purple/Chart Cocodrie Cocahoes is what the Big Girls wanted. Once the bite was done it was red-fish time. We hit the honey hole to find crystal clear water. It wasn't long before the guys had a double hook up!! The reds were thick today as we hooked into 22-25 fish, only keeping our limit. Gold spoons and Geaux Gleaux TTF killer Flats minnows did the job once again. Thanks guys for another splendid trip. Big thanks also to Capt Travis Miller for running the second boat with Jarrod Denise and his son. They also filled up the box with red-fish.
