Day 2 with Billy Gamel & the Alabama crew started off with thunderstorms all over the coast. We fished the coast for the first 2 hours pecking away at the trout and headed offshore once the storms played out. The crew had to be back for 10:00 AM and we didn't have much time left to fish. Everyone ran south except for Capt Josh and his crew that wanted to fish for reds. The weather was nice around 9:oo and we began slaying the trout with the double rigs doing the trick. Every boat was on the fish but we just didn't have the time due to the 10:00 deadline. We finished up with nearly 200 trout and a few reds on Friday. It was a great 2 day adventure with over 700 fish total as the guys were loaded up with plenty fillets. Big fun with this crew as these guys know how to have a good time on the bayou. Big thanks to all the Capts that made this trip possible and we look forward to the Alabama crew returning next year to DU it again. Good luck fishing.
