I will be in the market later this summer for a new/used trailer for my 80's model 1648 lowes modified v. Didn't realize what saltwater would do to an old metal trailer, and let's just say rust has taken over. What should I expect to pay for a new aluminum or galvanized trailer? Any suggested businesses to contact for pricing? Companies to stay away from? TIA..

No need to guess at pricing, call Lake Area Marine. They can hook you up with a price.

Cheapest I found when looking was around $1200 they were from $1200 up to $2000. But if you buy new taxes are gonna kill you. Id keep looking on craiglist and u can find a good trailer or boat amd trailer then sell the boat.I paid $1250 for my boat and $50 for my trailer
