What is the scoop on the Etecs? Are they known for trouble or are they just as reliable as anything else?

Mixed reviews......some love them!! But there seem to be more lemons out there than with other manufactures. I'd go Merc if you want 2stroke

I have @ 2009 175 etec. Never had problems w/ it.lots of torque and good fuel economy....
