Default South of Kaplan 12-22 before & during the RAIN
My son, a buddy of mine and I went to the blind this morning. It did rain but not too bad by the time we finished....

3 hunters = 18 ducks

11 teal, 2 red heads, 1 widg, 4 greys....

we have killed almost 20 this year....i think we only killed like 5 the past 10 years. I hear pecan islans (south side) is covered with them.

Great hunt, thanks for the report.

The RedHead is generally a Texas duck, not to many killed in Louisiana. The drought conditions being experienced in Texas have caused the RedHead population to shift more into Louisiana this year.

we got some rain but it was not that bad....what was cool was seeing that wind shift from the South to the North in a matter of minutes.....
