whats up with these japanesse shimano reels kike the aberdeen and scorpion? also i was looking on a site and they had an aftermarket "super spool" for the steez whats up with that anyone doing mods to thier reels? come on spill the beans or some knowledge on this subject

Pox, Shimano America and Shimano International are seperate intities. Did ya know that Shimano (USA) will not honor warranty on Japanzee reels?

I had a Scorpion.....I liked it!!! Kind of like the Curado!!!

Not really...I only had that on Jap reel!!! Reds Smoked it......gave away after one year

Ive had a scorpion for a while now. Its supposed to be the jap. curado. It has the super free spool on it. Really cant tell any difference between the two. I got it off of ebay.
