Default Diesel fuel additive

Does anyone use it in thier vehicles and if so what brand, what results, etc.

I just bought some cleaner from Walmart to put in my 06 Ford and plan on starting to add the treatment if it is worth it.

thanks

I use it a couple times a year to keep engine components clean.
I don't use it in every fill up.

I use an additive sold by Baton Rouge Industries. I have used it for years. No diesel fuel problems in my trucks or tractors. If I run out of that I use Lucas.

Seafoam is all I use now. There is another product out there called Gamma 88 that seems to be good, that I may try. I think the website is gamma88.com

Where do you get Seafoam?
West Marind don't have it anymore.
That's where I usta get it.
I run that thru all my outboards every year.
It's like a cheap tune up.

Wal-mart had for $ 10. But that was about a year ago that I was looking at it. One bottle for each tank full [~ 16 gallons....not sure] of gas.

I started using something the dealership recommended (and sells--imagine that). Not expensive though. Use like 4 oz per every other fill up. I think it is a 20 oz bottle for about 8 bucks at Tarver Ford. Called C-tane (not sure bout the spelling). This is in an 08 F250 diesel 6.4L. Not sure if its good for all diesels.

Ray, Walmart is carrying Seafoam.

I have seen the Cetane before and a friend of mine used it in his Dodge, dealer recommended to him.

Default SEAFOAM

Seafoam like the others said. The cheapest place to find it is at Tractor Supply Company, it's cheaper there than Wally World.

Same here. My father in law is a diesel mechanic and told me to use it because the low sulfur fuel doesn't have enough lubricant in it. Haven't had a problem since on my '07 Duramax.
