I know lots of people killing limits and lots of people killing nothing. It does seem the marsh is doing better than the rice fields on the southwest side of the state.

We did not do too well this morning the rice fields.......1 greenhead and 2 teal. Overall, we have had a good 1st split......148 birds.

It has been hit or miss even in the marsh. We finished today with 7 mallards and 1 teal. Lease total is around 160 with 40% mallards. Looks like our green friends have found us again this year, now if we could get 3" of rain.

My father in law hunts with a buddy of his in Pecan Island and it is hit and miss for them to. They have 3 blinds but really only one over the past few years kills majority of the time. Even this year, this blind is hit and miss.....
I hope it stays dry.....the less water the better.
