Best Live Bait well

Guys I have a custom gator Trax boat that i mainly use for redfish and this time of the year I can run a pretty good ways in lake pelto to catch trout.. But I'm tired of buying a cheap live well bucket from academy and then it not working after a couple trips... Just wondering if you guys know of any better live wells for a boat that does not hve one built in... Bass pro, cabelas, Superior?? In Baton Rouge area... Using it for live shrimp....

Build one out of an ice chest. I saw a few good homemade ones online awhile back.

When I lived in Texas, we used an ice chest and mounted 3 bubbleboxes...kept threadfin shad alive well.

Make one yourself. Use a 48 quart igloo, buy an aeration tube with suction cups to attach on wall of igloo. Wire to your battery. You have a built in drain plug on the igloo, insulated for summer heat...works great.

Use a 48qt ice chest and this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marine-Metal-Products-Double-Bubbles-Fishing-Aerator-Dual-Air-Pumps-/310391209323#vi-content. I have one set up like this. I took the bracket off the back and screwed the black back to the lid of the ice chest, drilled two holes in the lid for the air hoses to go through. Works great!

i use the big white aerator..got it from academy..$80. with a battery....gotta change water.. in heat ..i add ice sometimes..it is not insulated..but works real well for me

Go to reed sports online and they sell this cool thing that actually oxygenates the water rather than just an aerating system and hook it up on an ice chest. When my aerator goes out, that's the route I'm going

hey ff what is the site..that sounds intersting..i use that 10 gallon deal from academy..sometimes...and i also had a bubbler syster put in my live well on the boat..bublers last about 3 to 6 months. had to replace pump after 6 mos brand new boat..really hard to keep shrimp alive...

Try an oxygen bottle with low pressure regulator and the airstones for an aquarium. my oxygen bottle last for about 5 or 6 trips. Mine is not built in I just hook it up when Im not running

Yea I have two oxygen bottles on my two other boats I didn't really want to do that again... But I tell ya the Oxygen is the way to go for croakers and pogies..

I have had one of these tanks 50 gallon, was too bit for my usage, now that I am here I miss it. I want another very bad, they are pricey, but keep shad well, I have kept shad alive for multiple days. These are made by Texoma lake, and I would assume would keep shrimp alive too.
